Atlas Eléctrica is a public company that operates functionally like a multinational corporation, its origin is Costarrican. With more than 40 years of existence, Atlas Eléctrica is dedicated mainly to the manufacture and commercialization of domestic refrigerators, conventional and table stoves, both gas and electrical. Atlas also sells washing machines and microwaves as complement of the line to which it is oriented.
Atlas Eléctrica meets the ecological requirements for this type of industry and buys their supplies of raw materials only through certified companies in 17 countries. Atlas Eléctrica has operations in over 25 countries of Latin America. One of their latest introductions is the INOX line of stainless steel, directed to a more demanding public, with a modern design, uses stainless steel that guarantees its maximum durability and beauty.
Since the year 2001, Atlas del Caribe and Colchonería y Mueblería La Nacional are partners, being La Nacional their authorized distributor for the Dominican Republic.

Refrigerators
As of year 2005, according to the Protocol of Montreal, all the countries of the world had to replace harmful gases of the ozone layer that some refrigerators used. Atlas went ahead to this requirement and replaced in advance the totality of their line of refrigerators, the clorofluocarbons (CFC) by gases non offensive to the atmosphere. At the same time they initiated a campaign to create ecological conscience on the care of the environment, campaign, that has become extensive to our country.
The refrigerators can be of several types:
- Cyclical or Conventional
- Free of frost with an ice machine.
- Free of frost without ice machine.
As well, these can be of one or two doors and come in different sizes and models for each need.
Stoves
Atlas has a modern line of stoves that exhibit an advanced streamline design, with important safety features, in widths of 21 and 30 inches.
These products have had excellent acceptance on the part of the final consumer in markets like Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic and Panama.
Besides their stoves and refrigerator lines, Atlas has microwaves, washing machines, dryers, among other household electric appliances to make the daily works bearable.
One of the strongest points of Atlas is SERVICE.
Atlas del Caribe is the only company at the present time that offers a 3 years guarantee in all its products, including pieces and service. In Dominican Republic, Atlas has an authorized service workshop that guarantees the answer of any claim in a maximum time frame of 48 hours, to any part of the country.
